Training Programs

Entrepreneurship Training programs in Sweden:

Preparing students for academic entrepreneurship starts in their education. In most European countries, universities develop training programs, projects or other products to stimulate orientate and facilitate entrepreneurship. These programs/products make a business start-up or growth of a small- to medium Enterprise (SME) more likely.
Entrepreneurship Training programs can offer modules, tailored study programs, assessments, supervision and contacts with intermediary organisations. Important parts of most entrepreneurship training programs are: making a business plan, entrepreneurial skills, marketing and financial management.

Education programmes in entrepreneurship:

www.studera.nu is the address of the website used by the National Agency for Higher Education to provide information about the system of higher education in Sweden. A search engine “Hitta utbildning” (Find a programme) makes it possible to search all the courses and degree programmes offered at higher education institutions. By choosing “Entreprenörskap” you'll have a list with programs and courses in entrepreneurship in Sweden. The information at studera.nu is provided in Swedish. There is also a brochure, Studying in higher education (Att studera på högskolan), which gives more information about how higher education in Sweden functions. This is available in eight languages. Below you'll find descriptions of some universities and education programmes in entrepreneurship.

Science Parks and Incubators:

During the last two decades, Science Parks with business incubators has grown up around most of the universities in Sweden. An incubator is a tailored environment where young companies with new ideas can grow into strong enterprises. The Incubator environment is adapted for growth companies rather than for established businesses.
