Zonta International is a worldwide service organization of executives in
business and the professions working together to advance the status of women.
Nearly 33,000 individuals are members of more than 1,200 Zonta Clubs in 67
countries and geographic areas. Zonta Clubs are members of Zonta
International. Throughout Zonta International's history, improving the status
of women politically, legally, professionally, and in all other facets of
life has been the motivating force. Zonta International and Zonta Club
programs are making this happen, laying the groundwork for women to achieve
not just their personal goals but to improve conditions for women worldwide.

Soroptimist International of Sweden belongs to a worldwide organisation for
women in management and the professions working through service projects to
advance human rights and the status of women. Equality, development and peace
through international contacts, understanding and friendship are also one of
the main objectives.
• Women Can – KvinnorKan:

Women Can were established in 1982 with the purpose to promote women's cause
generally and enhance women's status in society in general, and in working
life more specifically. Furthermore this independent foundation explores and
displays women's knowledge and skills in different areas and organizes
meetings, debates and fairs. KvinnorKan also create opportunities for women
to debate, grow, develop, be inspired - and have fun. Their ambition is to
build bridges for greater co-operation, between women and men and between the
private and the public sectors, while at the same time as participants gain
new experience, new contacts, and new knowledge - new networks are formed,
and even new jobs offered. They present a method of working for greater
equality with a positive impact on local and regional development.
• The Fredrika-Bremer-Association (FBF):

FBF works on both national and local levels and co-operates with various
organizations to tackle different questions. They help to shape public
opinion, arrange lectures, seminars, conferences, and also act as a meeting
place, a source of inspiration and as a venue for network building. FBF
publishes a Nyhetsbrev (newsletter) as well as a magazine, Hertha, for gender

The women's front is a feminist organisation that fights all discrimination
against, and oppression of, women. They want to make women's everyday life
visible by starting consciousness-raising groups, making pamphlets, holding
speeches, making street theatres, arranging demonstrations and activities
within local areas.
