Throughout Zonta International's history, improving the status of women politically, legally, professionally, and in all other facets of life has been the motivating force. Furthermore this independent foundation explores and displays women's knowledge and skills in different areas and organizes meetings, debates and fairs. KvinnorKan also create opportunities for women to debate, grow, develop, be inspired - and have fun. Their ambition is to build bridges for greater co-operation, between women and men and between the private and the public sectors, while at the same time as participants gain new experience, new contacts, and new knowledge - new networks are formed, and even new jobs offered. They present a method of working for greater equality with a positive impact on local and regional development.
