Business Sectors in Sweden:
In Sweden, most new started enterprises are found within sectors like
“Trade, hotels and restaurants”, “Bank, insurance and business services” and
“Education health and social work”. Approximately eight out of ten new
enterprises are started within one of these three sectors

In 2003, around 55 percent of new enterprises in areas such as ”Education,
healthcare and other social services” were operated by a female entrepreneur. In
contrast, only about five percent of the construction enterprises were managed
by women .
