Business Sectors in Finland:
The share of enterprises within different business sectors are as following:
• Service 39, 1 %
• Trade 21, 6 %
• Industry 11, 5 %
• Construction 12, 9, %
• Traffic 10, 5 %

In 2004, around 5041 new companies were established in Finland. Further, out
of these businesses 78 percent were established in the field of services, 13
percent within construction, 5 percent industry operated and the remaining 4
percent divided in other areas.

• 11 percent of all engineers in Finland are female.
• 2 percent of female engineers work as entrepreneurs.
• 17 percent of the population have office works.
• 48 percent of Finnish female engineering work are found in areas such as
expert chore.
• 50 percent of Finland's female engineers work in industry and 67 percent
within the export industry. Most of females work in public sector.
• The middle salary for a female engineer in Finland is 2300 Euros per month.
• 84 percent of Finland's employees work full time and 12 percent of the
workers have terminal employment relationships.
